hi! i'm nina! 👋🏾

i'm currently a senior at tulane university. i'm triple majoring in english, anthropology, and linguistics, with a minor in africana studies.

i'm also a research intern with the univeristy of new orleans and hold three jobs on tulane's campus!

i like to say that i study both stories and experiences, from folklore and mythology to oral history and ethnography. i believe stories are at the nexus of human experience—they both ask and answer some of the most important questions that we can ask about ourselves and our communities.

where do we come from? where do we seek to go? what are our fears, hopes, or anxieties? what do we care about? i'm in the pursuit of asking what stories we tell, and why we tell them.
